Full Name: Legolas
Gender: Male
Race: Elf
Age: 2931
Homeland: Mirkwood
Personality: Legolas is generally a kind and caring individual, willingly holding the protection of his comrades as part of his responsibility. A bright, often relaxing character, he can be considered among the most cheerful members of the Fellowship. He also often bursts into song during the party's journeys. Legolas has a strong friendship and loyalty to the other members, although he finds himself occasionally colliding in cultural terms with Gimli. One significant flaw in his personality, however, would be the clear fact that, due to his unsuspectingly old age in comparison to Men, Dwarves, and Hobbits of his acquaintance, he considers most of those around him as children.
Appearance: Legolas' primary oddness in his appearance is his long silver-blonde hair, clearly differentiating from the usual dark hair of the typical Sindarin Elf. As an Elf, he stands at the height of a tall Man, though his build is of a light and slender physique. His face his fair, his eyes keen and bright like all Elves are, the latter feature radiating similarly to a purple tone. He is clad in green and brown, disturbing not his will to move with agility, thus composed mainly of light cloth. He refuses even to wear boots, only light shoes to tread upon ground or snow with barely an imprint.
History: Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood, was born as a Sindarin Elf and son to King Thranduil of Mirkwood. When the Council of Elrond was held in Rivendell, Legolas was present among fellow Elves as a messenger from his father to discuss the escape of Gollum. Over the time of the meeting, Legolas volunteered to become a member of the Fellowship of the Ring. Due to the ancient quarrel between Elves and Dwarves and the past incident of Thranduil imprisoning his father, Gimli and Legolas almost immediately came to odd terms with each other.
Legolas joined the Fellowship as the group's archer, accompanying the party to Amon Hen. During the heavy snowstorm that befell them on their journey across the mountains, he proved to be skilled in scouting through the weather and returning with news of their approaching the end of the disastrous situation. However, the path crossing the Caradhras having failed, Legolas accompanies the Fellowship on a trail through the Dwarf-kingdom of Moria, although reluctantly.
