Full Name: Gedwyn
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 20
Homeland: Born in the Westfold but now lives in Minas Tirith
Personality: Gedwyn is a soldier through and through however, his dark streak of ambition and cunning have also made him a sufficient politician. When on the battlefield, Gedwyn is harsh, cruel and merciless. This can also be said about him off the battlefield. He is a mad patriot and distrusts anyone who is not human and sometimes who are not even in Gondor. This dogmatic brutishness has gained him high military standing in Gondor's army but it also makes him a liability to all those close or responsible for him.
Appearance:
History: Gedwyn was born in a village in the sourthern part of the Westfold growing up in a community which was largely Gondorian leading to Gedwyn also adopting an allegiance to Gondor rather than Rohan. At the age of 18, whilst working on the fields of his families farm, the village was raided by orc bandits. Most of the village was destroyed.
After witnessing the death of his sweethart at the hands of an orc, Gedwyn took on the party of orcs slaying many but also getting injured in the result. Gedwyn killed the bandits, many with the scythe he was using on the field, but suffered a mortal stab in his back. Although it is not certain, many believe Gedwyn threatened an orc to heal it with dark magic in exchange for mercy, therefore causing darkness into Gedwyns body.
A set of soldiers discovered the attacked village and were amazed by the boy's achievement and skill. As he had no family or future left where he was, Gedwyn enlisted in Gondor's army and returned with the troops to Minas Tirith. After several other military achievements, Gedwyn has rose to the rank of Major.
Not satisfied with the Steward's lack of urgency to attack or take on Mordor, Gedwyn sets his sights on control of the army seeing the establishment as weak and out of touch. Should he gain enough support, Gondor itself could be threatened from within and its status as the bastion of hope and defense of men destroyed along with it.
