From within the great Fortress of Dol Guldur on the Naked Hill surrounded by trees, thousands of Orcs prepared for battle with the free people's of Middle Earth. Particularly the Elven lands of Lothlorien, Mirkwood, and later Rivendell. In order to seek and convert the Goblins of Moria and the Misty Mountains Lothlorien had to burn. Along with it's leaders and peoples. No quarter will be given to the Elvish folk especcially under the command of the Mouth of Sauron.
The furnaces burned brighter than ever; trees were being cut down and used as fuel for the fires. Sword after sword, armor after armor were being produced and given to an Orc. All the Orckin in the North were being gathered here. Tunnels were being built to house large numbers of them. But not only Orcs inhabited this place. Their stronger and larger counterparts were also in number Uruk-Hai. The men of the East and South were also present in numbers that rivaled the Orc. And most of all the most fearsome of enemies an Elf can face. Trolls, Battle ready Olog-Hai and Drummer Trolls. But just an army never wins wars. Tactics, strategy, and leadership do. Of course you need an army in the process but with just an army you are doomed. And so the preparation for the invasion and destruction of Lothlorien was split into three phases.
From a high point on one of the Fortress Towers The Mouth of Sauron appeared. "Listen my horde of Dol Guldur!" The Mouth shouted with his Denomic voice so that he could be heard by everyone of Dol Guldur. The fires of the furnaces stopped, and men, and orc gathered closer to the tower of which they had heard the Mouth's call. The Mouth looked at the army before him. It was not all of it but most of them were getting close enough for them to hear his speech. "Soon we will be mounting a large scale invasion of the Lothlorien forest and it's peoples. The Elves there are highly trained warriors in both Archery and Melee Combat. Their military has trained for thousands of years. And truth be told they outclass any warrior in Mordor. But! We are not from Mordor! We are the Northern Army from Dol Guldur! They may outclass our Southern bretheren but are we from the South!?" The Mouth yelled out his question to the horde and they answered just the way he wanted them to. They yelled back a No to his question of whether they are from the South or not. "That is right because we are the Northern Army of Mordor we march from the great Fortress of Dol Guldur! The Elven army has no chance for we are the ones who outclass them!" And without The Mouth asking any questions his army responded "WE ARE THE NORTHERN ARMY!" The Mouth grinned with his teeth of large yellow knives. "One last thing who do we have helping us here in the North?! The Southern Army has Isengard helping them but who do we have?!" The Mouth really got them rilled up and they yelled out "NO ONE! WE ARE THE NORTHERN ARMY! WE STAND ALONE!" And they kept on Chanting We are the Northern Army! We Stand Alone. The Mouth stood quiet and let them chant The Mouth turned away and went back into the tower with a huge grin "Perfect, phase one Leadership and morale complete." he said to himself.
