Personallity: As cruel as Belgarion can be, he is honest and wise beyond his years. He is loyal to one thing in this world, and that is the will of Gandalf. He cares not for mortal man, or the fate of the lands beyond Lorien, but he will fight for Gandalf's will until his dying breath. Norion is also sarcastic on occasion, utilizing the literary device to drive home points.
Appearance:
Belgarion stands at a respectable 6 foot, and weighs in at 190 lbs. He is lean and muscular, but by no means the physical specimen like that of an Uruk-Hai. His armor is made of mythril, and is the one extremely notable thing about him. His skin is a white-wash pale, and his eyes are as dark as night. Norion's hair is also as black as his eye, and is actually pretty soft because of the conditioner he uses.
History: He was born to a captain who was an officer under Haldir. On the day that Belgarion was to enter the Lorien military, Gandalf arrived on business to speak to Galadriel. However, Gandalf spent the majority of that trip speaking with Belgarion. Gandalf asked about his family, his friends, his relationship with the Generals, and also about the weather.
Gandalf then said he would return in 5 years time to see Belgarion again, and to check on his progress. That was all the motivation he needed. Belgarion trained day in and day out to become the best warrior he could in such a short time. When he wasn't running, he was working with his bow or his rapier. For 5 years he trained, until Gandalf arrived again.
Gandalf asked him to demonstrate his talents, and Belgarion did by running 10 miles without rest, then hitting 20 moving targets and finally disarming 20 warriors... and then running 5 more miles. Gandalf, of course, was impressed by the dedication Belgarion had put into his training and asked Belgarion to become his personal Steward, acting upon his behalf when he was "on other business" (which meant while he was on duty with the Fellowship, Belgarion later found out.)
Belgarion now receives his orders from Gandalf by way of "gut instinct"; something within Norion tells him what the best course of action is, and he follows it.
Weapons:
An elven bow, strung for maximum accuracy and velocity. It is light, and very accurate in Belgarion's hands. However, it has a limited ammunition (about 30 arrows or so in his quiver), and is useless at close range. It is black, with sexy cyan details.
A rapier known as Celeb Lyg, or the Silver Snake. Made from the wonderous elven smithies, this rapier is stronger than any seen before. While it is still not a slashing weapon like an elvish broadsword, it is more durable than almost any other rapier. It is also extremely sharp, and at the right angle can thrust itself through some orcish armor (most everything except the main torso armor.) Its edges are also extremely sharp, and can easily cut a throat open. While this weapon is light, durable, and deadly is is also only about 4 feet long. the Silver Snake is useless outside of that range, and also can not block heavier weapons.
Items: Minas Malina- His armor, Minas Malina, or Blue Tower, is named for it's slightly blue hue. Made from mythril, it is light as as "hard as dragon scale". It allows him solid protection, while also allowing him the speed he needs to move in combat.
Nim Cor- the "White Ring", as it is called, does nothing but symbolize Belgarion's loyalty to Gandalf. It is a ring made of the finest platinum, fitted firmly on Belgarion's left ring finger. Belgarion considers it his "good luck charm"
Lyg Neleg- Snake's Tooth, a horn that Belgarion carries at his side. As with all horns, they can often improve moral when they are blown. This one is similar to a Shepard's horn, with holes on the side to modify the note that is played.
