Race: Human, Haradrim
Homeland: Harad
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Personallity: Armoul isn't nice, but he isn't hateful either. He's a cold person, not taking a liking to anyone and decides not to speak unless he needs too. When he does speak, he can be either very vocal, or sof t spoken. He's a dangerous man, always ready to snap, but also has a slightly softer side of him, that he doesn't allow to show very often.
He is very prideful in his knowledge that he knows that he is stronger than most people. Not only that, be he is always willing to fight, even if the odds seem insurmountable, however, this doesn't mean he is willing to throw his life away recklessly. He will calmly asses the situation and act accordingly. However, due to his sometimes uncontrollable bloodlust, he will snap and go on a rampage.
He has a special affinity for dwarves, as he enjoys their craftsmanship. He usually hates it when he has to fight dwarves, but will fight them nonetheless. However, he especially loathes elves. He find's them extremely annoying and over arrogant.
Appearance:
He is usually seen in his battle gear, full leather, as seen above, with a layer of chain mail underneath. He has a turban wrapped around his head in blood red instead of the customary black or brown and a mask the covers his lower face. He wears metal gauntlets on his arms to use to deflect blades.
Outside of battle, he is seen... pretty much the same way. Except he removes his chain mail, turban, and mask. When the mask is removed, it shows a very scarred face, his lower faced covered in burn scars. His eyes are a startling jade color, and his hair is short, black, and spiky. He is usually seen with a look of anger, contempt, or of being bored upon his face.
History: The life of Armoul wasn't unlike many other people from Harad. He grew up persecuted by the Gondor as he was born in Near Harad. However, like many of his brethren flocked towards Mordor, and decided to serve them faithfully. He joined with his brother when he was 15. He trained hard for five years, conditioning his body and increasing his skills, and eventually, could defeat any man in Harad's army.
After that, he began to study strategies, for he did not only want to be a warrior, but a master of all warfare. This was his dream. This was his goal. To become the supreme in warfare. For the next five years, he studied everyday, as well as keeping his body conditioned and his soldier duties at hand. Then, when he was 25, there came an opportunity to use his newly acquired knowledge of warfare.
His brother, one of the generals, allowed him to lead one hundred Harad soldiers on a raid to Gondor. He and his troops snuck in at night, attacking a small military outpost on the outskirts of Gondor, right on the line of Harad. The raid was an outstanding success. Not one man died that night, but this only added fuel to Armoul's ego.
Another raid, a few weeks later, ended in utter disaster for Armoul. As he returned with only 3 of his men remaining, he was stripped of all his ranks and demoted to a regular soldier, and punished. The Nazgûl's servants took him and placed his face in a furnace, forever scarring his face. Ever since that incident, he had been battling with the thought of leaving Harad and wandering the land.
For the next five years he had returned back to his normal soldier duty, unable to move any more forward, he became angered and in battle he would take out his frustration out on his enemies. In one battle, when he was 29, he killed over one hundred men and slaughtered twenty horses. He had various wounds, but was unphased.
However, a year after that, his brother, had passed away at the age of 41 due to a disease. On his deathbed, his brother had told him that he never wished he had got the punishment he had gotten and entrusted him with three artifacts. The Claw of The Red Sun, The Stone of the Blue Moon, and the Necklace of the Fallen Star, all three where heirlooms from their father. As soon as he said goodbye, he passed away, and for the first time in years, he wept.
The War of the Ring had started a little bit earlier than that. The kingdoms of the world were gearing up. As Armoul geared up to help Mordor, he was entirely unsure of what to feel. As he looked back on his life and his brother's, there was to much death and serving Mordor would only serve to kill him. But that was all he had ever known. He went off ready for war, to fight for the Dark Lord Sauron.
Weapons:
The strengths of this weapon is that its fast, good with closed ranged combat, and if Armoul's emotions are in check, it has the chance to burn the person and leave some decent damage. If they aren't in check, they leave flame trails everywhere that can frighten regular soldiers.
The down fall of this weapon is, is that it is a close combat weapon, which requires Armoul to get very close, and really isn't a defensive weapon. Also, when his emotions are focused, there aren't any flame trails that can frighten people. If is emotions aren't in check, then the damage done by the flames is minimal, if at all, it becomes more for show than for battle.
Standard Harad Bow - A standard bow that is given to every soldier. It's a small and compact, and Armoul keeps his quiver on his waist behind his mantle.
The strengths of this weapon are the penetrating power and the range of this weapon. Both of which are quite considerable and the fact that Armoul is an expert marksman adds to the lethality of the weapon.
The downfalls of this weapon are, it's pretty much useless in close combat (Unless your Legolas and can beast any range with his bow) and that Armoul's anger sometimes gets in the way of concentration. It also has a limited supply of arrows unless Armoul randomly finds arrows on dead people. [/ul]
Items:
The Necklace of the Fallen Star - A beautiful necklace with an amber stone in the center of a star. It was originally his mother's that she gave to his father. It can be used to glow (Nothing like the Light of Eärendil.) As with the other one, it's more sentimental for him to carry it than anything.[/ul]
